Arjun Kapoor has expressed his desire to work in a remake of the comedy ‘Hera Pheri’ (2000) alongside none other than his old friend Ranveer Singh.

Kapoor was in conversation with the media in which he was asked which movie he would love to remake with his ‘Gunday’ (2014) co-star, reports Box Office Worldwide. As well as ‘Hera Pheri,’ with Singh and Paresh Rawal, he also suggested ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ (1994) as an option.

Even 20 years later, ‘Hera Pheri’ remains one of Bollywood’s most iconic comedy films. Staring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Tabu and Rawal, the film set the template for new-age comedy in the Hindi film industry.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kapoor is waiting for the release of his upcoming film ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ alongside co-star Parineeti Chopra. The trailer of the film released a while back but, due the current pandemic, the actual release date of the film remains to be confirmed.

The film is directed and produced by Dibakar Banerjee.
