Arjun Kapoor injured on sets of ‘Tevar’

Actor Arjun Kapoor has injured his lower back while shooting for the action film ‘Tevar’.

The incident happened during a song at Film City, Mumbai, which halted the shoot of the film. Bollywood Hungama reports that he was hurt badly but Kapoor insisted on moving with the shoot after resting for a while. The report adds that a doctor was called on the sets and after prescribing some medicines, the actor was back in action.

The item song, which was being filmed sees Shruti Haasan shaking a leg. ‘Tevar’ is the remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Okkadu’ which released in 2003. The South version starred Mahesh Babu, Bhumika Chawla and Prakash Raj in main roles. Tevar will see Arjun Kapoor playing the role of a Kabaddi player and has been extensively shot in North India. The film is slated to release on 9th January 2015.
