Arjun Kapoor: “I would like Sonu Nigam to be my voice”

Arjun Kapoor expressed his desire that he wants Sonu Nigam to be his voice as he is his favourite singer.

“Sonu is my favourite singer. He has never given his voice to me for a film, so I hope it happens soon��_ I’ll request him that next time if there is a chance, I would like him to be my voice,” Kapoor told PTI.

Among the experienced lot of singers, singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan has sung for Kapoor in ‘2 States’ (2014) and Bappi Lahiri playbacked for him in ‘Gunday’ (2014). But it is mostly the fairly newer lot of singers like Arijit Singh, Mika Singh, Javed Ali, Vishal Dadlani and Benny Dayal who have sung for Kapoor.

The actor said his all-time favourite song is Bolna halke halke from ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’ (2007).
