Arjun Kapoor: “I don’t want producers to lose money”

Arjun Kapoor’s last film was last week’s release ‘Half Girlfriend’ which hasn’t fared too well at the box office. The actor recently spoke about not wanting producers to lose money.

Kapoor, who is the son of a producer, clearly has a certain feeling about the topic. He is quoted by Mumbai Mirror, “I never want my producers to lose a single rupee. I can’t guarantee that they will make money as it depends on how the film is made, but I always try that they should not lose money”.

He went on to say, “I don’t want people to lose money because of my creative whim. I can do that once or twice, but after that I won’t be considered for the films which producers feel will do good business”.

About getting picky with the films he chooses to do, Kapoor ended, “I choose films for the love of the character and not because I want to be seen”.

Kapoor’s next is ‘Mubarakan’ which is slated for release in July.
