Initial box office indications yesterday about ‘Mubarakan’ showed that the film was off to a slow start. However, comments on social media have remained positive and Arjun Kapoor is happy he chose to do the film.
The actor said, according to Indian Express, “When I heard good things about the film from friends and fans on social media, I felt vindicated as an actor that my decision to do this film was correct”.
Kapoor took to visiting suburban theatres where the film was showing and he also added, “I am happy that in my short span of a career, I am able to deliver a film which entertained the audience right from kids to senior citizens. It’s a very rare thing in a young actor’s life”.
Kapoor is playing a double role for the second time in the film and is also seen sharing the screen with real-life uncle Anil Kapoor.
The film also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty and released yesterday, directed by Anees Bazmee.
