Arjun Kapoor had a half girlfriend

The trailer of Arjun Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Half Girlfriend’ has evoked mixed responses from the audience, with some ridiculing the concept. Kapoor claims that he too has had a half girlfriend in real life, just like his character in the film based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel.

Absolute India quote Kapoor saying, “Elaborating further, he said, “We do have some relationships in life which are not proper; which are incomplete. I too had one relationship which was left incomplete or let’s say I did have a half girlfriend. So I was all ready to propose this girl on her birthday, but the moment she entered the restaurant, she was accompanied with a guy. At first I thought he was her brother but then I came to know he is her boyfriend who just proposed to her. And I was like, ‘I wish I would have proposed her before.’ The girl is happily married now and is settle in England. But yes, you can say that I did have a half girlfriend.”

Directed by Mohit Siri, the film stars Kapoor opposite Shraddha Kapoor and releases on 19th May.
