Arjun Kapoor feels fortunate to share bond with Ranveer Singh

Arjun Kapoor feels immense pleasure in sharing the stage with Ranveer Singh. He was quite excited about co-hosting the IIFA awards 2015 with Singh.

Singh and Kapoor were appreciated for the tremendous chemistry they exhibited in Bollywood film ‘Gunday’, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar in 2014.

The 29-year-old actor sheds light over the philosophy behind any friendship. He feels that no one needs to work out to make the friendship intact, instead it is a common phenomena that develops between two individuals with the time. He told Hindustan Times, “When you talk about bromance, tuning, friendship or equation you don’t work on them, they get formed. We can’t try much for these things, it just happens. In our case we are fortunate that we both get along well.”

He said that there is a mutual understanding between us and we have the ability to entertain masses and that is the only reason why audiences like the two of us. “I am very excited because as entertainers we get various platforms to entertain people. I think this is the best platform to reach to the global audience, to represent our film industry and engage the audience into enjoying an award show.” said the actor.

When asked about who will bag the best actor or actress awards in IIFA night, Kapoor named his personal favourites Shahid Kapoor for ‘Haider’ and Kangana Ranaut for ‘Queen’. Meanwhile, he also said that there were many more good performances and he hoped that the best man wins.
