Arjun Kapoor does not think Finding Fanny۪ is an offbeat film
Homi Adajania۪s Finding Fanny۪ seems to have created quite a buzz since the promo was launched last week. While some people feel the film looks offbeat, actor Arjun Kapoor does not think so and feels that the audience in India are ready to watch different films like Finding Fanny۪.
For me, it۪s a film which the country is ready to watch, and the fact that the trailer has received an overwhelming response is an example that people are willing to watch such content, Kapoor said to IANS.
Adajania۪s last film, Cocktail۪ (2012), which was a lot more commercial, did brilliant business at the box office. ʉFinding Fanny۪ is an English language film, though a Hindi version will also be released, and is therefore being considered as quite a risk from the filmmaker.
The film sees Kapoor opposite reigning box office queen, Deepika Padukone, and also stars Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapur and Naseeruddin Shah. Ranveer Singh will be seen in a special appearance and the film is set to release on 12th September.
