Arjun Kapoor denies ‘Half Girlfriend’ delay

With the success of ‘2 States’ (2014), Arjun Kapoor will soon be set to play a lead in another Chetan Bhagat novel adaptation ‘Half Girlfriend’. With the actor involved in another film, reports suggested that the shooting schedule of this film was delayed. However, the actor has denied these reports saying that everything is right on time.

To be helmed by Mohit Suri,��Times of India��reported Kapoor stating, “I’ll begin ‘Half Girlfriend’ once R. Balki sir’s film (‘Ki and Ka’) releases… That was always the intention. A lot of people are assuming that ‘Half Girlfriend’ is delayed. The film was never delayed.”

The news broke out that due to Kapoor not having finished his shooting for Balki’s ‘Ki and Ka’, the Suri directorial was to be set back by three months. Luckily with the promos of ‘Ki and Ka’ already doing the rounds, all seems to be back on track for the rest of Kapoor’s projects.
