Anushka Sharma’s new role as a producer has lined up a series of films sure to boost her producing credentials. After ‘NH10’ (2015), the trailer for ‘Phillauri’ will be unveiled later this week.
The buzz for ‘Phillauri’ has taken over trends on social media already and this is before anything has even been released. However, before that happens, Sharma and ‘NH10’ director Navdeep Singh were planning to collaborate on another project called ‘Kaneda.’ This is reported to be a gangster saga revolving around a Punjabi mafia gang based in Canada, reports DNA India. The movie is a dark, gritty gangster drama and will have Sharma playing the lead opposite Arjun Kapoor.
BizAsiaLive.com first reported the possible rumours of the pairing back in November last year before noting several reports of Kapoor backing out of the project. But now concrete reports confirm that the collaboration is indeed going ahead.
