Arijit Singh performs to 50,000 fans at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Indian playback singer Arijit Singh performed to a crowd of more than 50,000 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, becoming the first Indian artist to headline and sell out a stadium show in the UK.

The concert, Singh’s only European performance in 2025, featured a setlist that spanned over three hours and included some of his most recognised songs such as “Tum Hi Ho” and “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”. The show also incorporated orchestral arrangements, acoustic medleys, and large-scale visual production with LED panels, light displays, and special effects.

One of the evening’s key moments came when sitarist Anoushka Shankar joined Singh on stage for a collaborative performance. The pair presented specially arranged pieces from an upcoming project that blends their musical styles.

Tickets for the event sold quickly, with more than 25,000 purchased within hours of release, ultimately leading to a full house at the north London venue. Fans travelled from across Europe for the concert, which marked Singh’s largest performance outside India to date.

Singh closed the show last Friday night, with his new track “Sapphire”, a collaboration with British artist Ed Sheeran. Due to stadium regulations, the set finished slightly earlier than planned, though the concert ran for more than three and a half hours.

The performance follows Singh’s sold-out show at The O2 Arena in London in 2024, where he also appeared on stage with Sheeran. With more than 151 million followers on Spotify, Singh is currently the platform’s most-followed artist worldwide.
