Arijit Singh invests in four flats in Mumbai worth Rs 9.1 crore?

Hindi playback singer Arijit Singh has earned immense fame and became an overnight sensation, especially after his song ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from the film ‘Aashiqui 2’ (2013). He has since gone on to win several awards for his other hit songs such as, ‘Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse’, ‘Main Rang Sharbaton Ka’, ‘Phir Le Aaya Dil’ and many more.

Personalities from the Hindi film industry are known to invest their earnings in real estate while at the peak of the career, and if reports are to be believed, Singh has joined the bandwagon and has purchased four flats in the same block, in the Mumbai suburb of Versova.

SpotboyE shares that the singer has reportedly paid a large sum of Rs. 54 lakh in stamp duties already and the registry for the four flats were done in January. As per the reports, one of the four flats has an area of 32 square metres and cost Rs. 1.80 crore while another one is 70 square metres and cost Rs. 2.20 crore. The third one is reportedly around 80 square metres and cost Rs. 2.60 crore, while another one with an area of 70 square metres and is said to have cost Singh Rs. 2.5 crore, bringing the total amount to 9.1 crore.

Singh made it to the Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list that released in December 2019 and ranked 26th. According to the list, it showed him with a worth of Rs. 71.95 crore.
