Arijit Singh happy that Gerua from ‘Dilwale’ is doing well

Arijit Singh has given playback to Bollywood’s King Khan for the first time in the forthcoming ‘Dilwale’. The actor has expressed that he’s happy the song Gerua has become a hit.

He spoke to Hindustan Times about lending his voice to the song, “It feels great and also weird at the same time. I have been watching Shah Rukh Khan since my childhood and I never thought my voice would suit him. A lot of people would feel that I my voice is not suitable for him because Shah Rukh is one huge personality and you need some kind of maturity to sing for him and for me there is long way to go”.

“Gerua�۪ has become a huge hit and it feels nice to see people are accepting me in SRK�۪s voice,” the singer added.

Gerua also features Kajol with Antara Mitra as the playback for her.

‘Dilwale’ releases on 18th December and also stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
