Arijit Singh on his film directorial ‘Simple Notes’

Having ventured into film making there has been much talk about Arijit Singh’s debut as a director with his forthcoming film ‘Simple Notes’.

Having also played a part in writing and editing the film, Singh was asked if this is a new career path for him. “Not at all. The film was an experiment conducted for myself. In direction. That’s about it,” Pune Mirror reports the musician expressing.

Based on the time where Bangladesh was established, ‘Simple Notes’ tells the story of a young boy’s life who learns how to use music as a way of overcoming his troubles.

With the film having been completed, Singh is currently beginning his tour around India where he will be singing his greatest hits live in 10 cities starting off in Pune where he will then travel to Mumbai.
