Archana Kumar, Producer, Director, Script Writer, Choreographer, and Mentor, known for the blockbuster stage production ‘Mrs. Kapoor’s Daughter’s Wedding and its sequel ‘Mrs. Kapoor’s Daughter’s Wedding 2 Mauritius’, has been shortlisted at this year’s Asian Achievers Awards.
Kumar, who is also the CEO of UK Bollywood Dance School, AK Bollywood Dance, has expressed her delight at being nominated for the prestigious gong.
She told BizAsiaLive.com, “I am feeling so grateful to be shortlisted for Art and Culture. It’s an area that I’ve been working on for a long time and feel super passionate about. Through dance and theatre, I want to encourage and create more opportunities for South Asian artists to step into the world of Theatre. And for more South Asian families to attend theatre shows. This is a brilliant platform, and I’m super excited.”
