Arbaaz Khan to take legal action against Abhinav Kashyap’s allegations

Filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap raised eyebrows after he accused Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Salim Khan of “sabotaging” his career after ‘Dabangg’ released in 2010.

He spoke at length about how his breakdown in relationship with the Khans had severely affected his mental health. He also said that he had experienced “gaslighting, exploitation and bullying first hand” by the family.

Now responding to the allegations, Arbaaz Khan has hit back by telling Hindustan Times that he had last communicated with Kashyap in 2012.

In a statement to the publication, Arbaaz said, “In fact, we have already taken legal action even before this post; it was after his earlier post (when Kashyap spoke about having differences with Arbaaz and Salman and led him to step down from the Dabangg franchise). We have had no communication with Abhinav since we started working on Dabangg 2. We parted ways professionally. Don’t know where all this coming from. We are taking legal action.”

Incidentally, Kashyap’s admission came just days after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, which has led to a whole new debate about nepotism and bullying in the film industry.
