Arbaaz Khan summoned by police over IPL betting case


Arbaaz Khan has reportedly been summoned by the Thane police over an IPL betting case.

Times Of India reports that that the actor and producer will have to cooperate with the police in the investigations.

Khan’s summon comes days after bookie Sonu Jalan was arrested in the same case. There’s reports alleging that Jalan was extorting money from Khan. Times Of India adds that Khan had lost around Rs. 2.8 crore on bets during the IPL.

Pradeep Sharma, the senior inspector of anti-extortion cell, told Times Of India, “We have summoned the actor-producer to ascertain his role in the betting racket and which shall be confirmed once his statement is recorded.”
