Applicants announced for Sunrise Radio licence

Ofcom has today announced that it has received five ��declarations of intent�۪ to apply for for the Sunrise Radio licence, which broadcasts on 963AM and 972AM in Greater London.

Five of the listed companies below have each paid �14,500 application fee and a refundable deposit of �66,700. Declarations of intent have been received from the following companies:

In line with Ofcom�۪s published relicensing procedures, it will publish a full re-advertisement of this licence on Tuesday 5th August 2014.

This re-advertisement will be open to all applicants. This is not limited to the companies listed above who have submitted a declaration of intent to apply for the licence.

Sunrise Radio (Sunrise Radio London Limited) moved to 963AM and 972AM in Greater London (previously Buzz Asia Limited) after its previous frequencies 1458AM and 1035AM were bought out from administrators by Lyca Media. –
