Not long ago, Sonakshi Sinha had confirmed that she was trying to work out her dates for Apoorva Lakhia’s next, ‘Haseena’, which would be based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar. Now, it’s emerged that Sinha’s date issues means that the film will now only be able to commence at the end of the year.

“Due to a clash of dates with her other projects, Sonakshi has expressed her inability to start shooting for ‘Haseena The Queen of Mumbai’ any time soon. It’s a great script and Sona has a powerful role which needs a lot of attention. She has working hard on the prep and is excited about the project,” said a source to Mid-Day.

The film was supposed to go on the floor this month but this will not happen now. The source further adds, “Her co-star John got injured last October and so, the action scenes are being completed only now. She will also be busy with the promotions of ‘Akira’ after that. Therefore, Haseena can go on floors towards the end of 2016”.

Sinha is currently busy with ‘Akira’ and ‘Force 2’ which means she is not able to allocate time to ‘Haseena’ right now.
