Anushka Shetty turns down Karan Johar?

Not long after news that Prabhas’ fee was apparently too high for Karan Johar comes reports that his ‘Baahubali’ co-star Anushka Shetty has also turned down the filmmaker.

Shetty was apparently being considered for one of Dharma’s projects. A source revealed to Deccan Chronicle, “Karan was keen on casting Anushka in one of his projects, but she didn’t find the role adequate enough for her. She rejected Tamasha for similar reasons as well. And yes, there are speculations that she may have consulted Prabhas before refusing the film”.

Shetty also turned down Imtiaz Ali previously as she didn’t think the female lead in ‘Tamasha’ (2015) was strong enough.
