Anushka Sharma to play cameo in Dutt biopic?

Contrary to rumours, Anushka Sharma will reportedly play only a small role in the much talked about Sanjay Dutt biopic.

According to Mumbai Mirror, Sharma will be seen in a cameo playing the role of a scribe/biographer. A source told the publication, “Anushka is not playing Manyata or even any of Sanjay’s love interest. It’s a cameo appearance, she will be seen as a scribe/biographer who chronicles Sanjay’s life in the film.”

The report adds that Sharma instantly accepted the part in the film after her success working with Rajkumar Hirani in ‘PK’ (2014).

The question now remains, who will play Manyata in the film. Kangna Ranaut is the other name that has been flying around for a number of months. With the film expected to go on the floors in January, we’re sure to find out full details soon.
