Anushka Sharma replaces Abhay Deol as ‘Canada’ co-producer?

A lot has already been written about Anushka Sharma and Navdeep Singh collaborating together again for ‘Canada’ but its just emerged that the initial choice to produce the film was Abhay Deol.

Speaking to Mid Day, a source said, ���Abhay and Navdeep bonded well and became buddies. They planned several projects, but things did not work out��_ ��When he felt nothing was moving in case of ‘Canada’, Abhay turned producer with Devika Bhagat’s ‘One By Two’ (2014)… Navdeep had been trying to find someone to invest in ‘Canada’ and in September last year, Aanand L Rai came on board as producer. Now Anushka has also joined in.�۝

��Canada�۪ is a political-thriller.�� There is no news regarding whether Sharma would also be acting in the project.

Sharma and Singh�۪s first venture together, ��NH10�۪, is scheduled to release on 6th March.
