Anushka Sharma prefers acting over producing

Anushka Sharma might have successfully jumped into film production with her hit flick ‘NH10’ (2015), but the actress believes that acting will always rule over her heart despite her enthusiasm towards exploring every aspect of filmdom.

“Acting has always been my passion and will remain so. I enjoyed playing the dual role of an actor and producer. As a viewer, I really want to watch author-backed stories and there is something amazing about thrillers, the way it captivates your imagination��_It was an interesting experience and a completely unexplored territory for me,” Sharma told Bollywood Hungama.

“Also, I don’t compartmentalise myself. I really wanted ‘NH10’ to be made and being associated with it eased the entire process,” she added.

The actress is currently busy shooting for her upcoming flick ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, produced by Karan Johar. The film also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor in leading roles.
