There have been reports further to Sanjay Gupta�۪s confirmation that Hrithik Roshan would be starring in his next directorial. Although a female lead wasn�۪t yet finalised and it was being said it was too early to speculate, it�۪s emerged that Anushka Sharma is the number one choice.
A report on TOI suggests that both Kareena Kapoor Khan and Parineeti Chopra have rejected the film. Kapoor Khan showed reservations because the story is apparently about a couple that is visually challenged. As a result, makers have started looking to other heroines and it seems Sharma is the one they have currently zeroed in on.
It is, of course, not known whether this is just speculation or whether Sharma has been approached. One hopes a confirmation is forthcoming as it would mean Roshan and Sharma would be sharing the screen for the first time.
The film is reportedly to be produced by Rakesh Roshan and has apparently been titled ‘Kaabil’.
