Anushka Sharma open to casting three Khans in her films

Anushka Sharma is keeping her options open with regards to casting the three Khans in her productions.  The actress-producer has said content comes ahead of casting but is not closed to the idea of working with the superstar heroes.

Following the critical acclaim but limited box office success of her two production films – ‘NH10’ (2015) and ‘Phillauri’ (2017),  Sharma has come under fire for not having the draw of a superstar hero to pull in the numbers.  However the actress has stated her priority is the script.  “I cannot write a film for an actor. I will never do that. It will always have to be the other way round. We write the script and then take a call on who we feel will be able to do justice to that film. That’s the right way of working. Sometimes, when you work the other way round, you can mess up things. Many films haven’t done well because of that reason”, she said as reported in DNA India.

However the talented actress is not closed to the idea of casting the Khans should the story demand it.  “For us, everything begins from the script. Tomorrow, we could write a script that might require a huge budget. If I feel that’s a role that fits the Khans or any other big star, I will definitely pitch the film to them. It has to be the correct part to offer them”, she added.

Sharma has worked with all three Khans in her career and shares a good rapport with them.  She will be seen paired once again with Shah Rukh Khan in Imtiaz Ali’s next.
