Anushka Sharma on rejecting ‘Tamasha’

Anushka Sharma has recently been praised for her performance in the unstoppable ‘Sultan’ (2016) opposite Salman Khan. The actress, as BizAsia has previously reported, turned down ‘Tamasha’ directed by Imtiaz Ali. In a recent interview she has opened up about it.

According to Pinkvilla, Sharma was quick to say she hadn’t seen the film when asked whether she regretted turning it down. She also went on to add, “I have no doubt that if I did the film I would be praised. Any actor in an Imtiaz Ali film will always be good for he is a good director and is very good with his actors”.

‘Tamasha’ released last year and starred Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
