Anushka Sharma offered lead in ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake?

With much speculation surrounding the remake of 80s classic ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake, it seems we could be getting close to the actual names that could be taking the huge project on.

The original film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini, could have Hrithik Roshan taking on the male lead in the remake. Earlier, there were reports that Deepika Padukone could step into Malini’s shoes. However, the latest name linked to that project is Anushka Sharma.

A source told The Asian Age, “Anushka has been approached. But in the meantime, the makers are waiting for a response from Hrithik Roshan as well. Anushka, who was last seen as Aafia Yusufzai Bhinder in the film Zero, has not yet given a nod to the film and will wait for the makers to make the final offer once everything is in place.”
