Anushka Sharma makes Forbes ’30 under 30′ Asia 2018 list

Forbes recently released its annual ’30 under 30′ Asia list. Now in its third consecutive year, 2018’s roundup features 300 young innovators and disruptors who are constantly challenging themselves to re-invent their individual industries and bring change to this diverse continent.
The honourees are spread across 10 different categories such as Entertainment & Sports, Social Entrepreneurs, Retail & E-commerce, Finance & Venture capital and Arts. One familiar name who has made the list is none other than GQ India‘s Woman of the Year, Anushka Sharma.
The 29-year old star began her acting career a decade ago. She made her debut with the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ (2018), opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan, reports GQ India. Sharma then went on to star in over fifteen films, several of which have been hits.
Before she became one of the Hindi film industry’s most bankable names, she was a successful model — a career she began pursuing when she was 15 years old. Apart from acting, Sharma also co-owns a production company called Clean Slate Films with her brother, Karnesh Sharma. The star and producer, who married Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli late last year, also launched her own clothing line named Nush, which aims to make fashionable yet affordable clothing for women.
