Anushka Sharma denies engagement rumours

As beaus of the Indian Film Industry attempt to keep their relationships under wraps, there is always a lot of buzz surrounding actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricketer Virat Kholi. The latest news had it that the couple have decided to tie the knot, and were planning on doing it before the Cricket World Cup next year. However, to their fan’s dismay Sharma went on record denying reports of an engagement taking place at all.

Currently in the midst of promoting her upcoming ‘PK’, the actress got a chance to interact with her fans through social media. According to Business of Cinema, when asked about the rumours Sharma declared, “No, I am not getting engaged, and that�۪s not going to happen for a while. I could not get the time, the space, and the platform to clarify and say what I wanted to, so here I am, interacting and whatever I write here and say is what is true.”

Despite always having denied reports of their link-up, the couple have been spotted together a number of times, which has only added fuel to the fire. Though they’re not the only ones in this situation, it seems like they’re going to have to do a lot more to keep their relationship secret.
