Anushka reveals Virat’s fake name used to keep their wedding a secret

Kicking off the celebrity wedding fever was Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli back in December 2017. The Wedding which was a private affair was a well kept secret as Sharma has now revealed that they used false names.

The ‘Sui Dhaaga’ (2018) actress told Vogue India magazine that in order to prevent details of their wedding being leaked, they used Kohli’s false name to arrange their big day. “We wanted to have a home-style wedding. There were only 42 people there, with all our friends and family present. I wanted it to be about Virat and me marrying each other, and not this big celebrity wedding. The energy at our wedding was blessed,” adding, “I think Virat’s was Rahul.”

Sharma and Kohli tied the knot in the romantic setting of Tuscany, Italy.
