'Bombay Velvet' poster 340x

The much talked about forthcoming movie ‘Bombay Velvet’ is back in the news, this time with speculation that songs featuring Anushka Sharma and Raveena Tandon have been axed due to the excessive length of the film.

According to a report on Pinkvilla, the time length of the film resulted in the editor, Thelma Schoonmaker toeditthree of Sharma’s songs and one of Tandon’s song out of the film. Tandon had one song placed during the starting credits, and her second song has been largely edited. “BV is three hours long and had to be. It had to have a running time ofclose to two hours. So, Thelma suggestedcutting out three of Anushka’s songs and both of Raveena’s tracks.”

The first look of’Bombay Velvet’ has had mix reviews. Lets see if this edit works in the film’s favour.
