Anushka on Aanand L Rai’s next: “Don’t have scenes with Katrina”

The trio of 2012’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ – Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif – have been confirmed for Aanand L Rai’s next. There were rumours that Sharma and Kaif don’t actually share the screen some time back and this has now been confirmed by the former.

Sharma is quoted by Filmfare, “I’ll start that after I’ve wrapped up Pari. I’m looking forward to it because I really enjoyed working with both although I don’t have scenes with Katrina in the film. But as a co-actor, I respect her hard work and value what she has done.”

Talking further about the film, Sharma adds, “With Shah Rukh this will be my fourth film, the maximum I have worked with any actor. I have a great professional relationship with him and Aanand L Rai is a director I have always appreciated”.

A source also added, “In the movie, Anushka plays a character, who is in love with Shah Rukh and is an ordinary village girl. SRK’s character is in love with Katrina, who plays an actress in the film. The story has been altered a lot from its first script to now, and there is absolutely no interaction between the two ladies”.

The film is slated for release at Christmas next year.
