Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ has 92-crore budget?

Anurag Kashyap has been flying high on the success of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ (2012). His forthcoming venture, ‘Bombay Velvet’, is also one to look out for. News has it that Kashyap has requested a budget of a hefty 92 crores for the entire film.

Ranbir Kapoor will be playing male lead in the film and BizAsia has learnt that Kashyap has ordered a 26-crore set for the film. Anushka Sharma will be co-starring with Kapoor in the movie which will see them together on screen for the first time.
