Anurag Kashyap�۪s reluctance to be on camera in ‘Akira’

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap�۪s recent role in front of the camera in ��Akira�۪ (2016) almost did not happen as he was hesitant to star in A.R. Murugadoss�۪s picture at first.

Mumbai Mirror reports that Kashyap was reluctant to be seen on screen. He tweeted, ���”I am so proud of my work in Akira. Even though I was reluctant to begin with. Thank you A.R. Murugadoss and Sonakshi Sinha.”

Kashyap is no stranger to the camera as he has previously acted in films like ��Black Friday�۪ (2004), ��No Smoking�۪ (2007), ��Dev.D�۪ (2009), ��Gulaal�۪ (2009) and ��Shagird�۪ (2011). Apart from Sinha and Kashyap, ��Akira�۪ also features Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Sadh and Atul Kulkarni, along with a special guest appearance from Akshay Kumar.
