Anurag Basu confirms Katrina’s ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ shoot was pre-scheduled

With rumours that Katrina Kaif had left the shoot for ‘Jagga Jasoos’ due to wanting to avoid her ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor on the sets, director Anurag Basu has confirmed that this was not the case. Kaif has started shooting for ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ once again.

According to Pinkvilla, Basu said, “Schedules of films like these are never planned at the last moment. Dates for both Jagga Jasoos and Nitya Mehra’s Baar Baar Dekho were planned over 5 months ago and agreed on. Nitya’s schedule in Thailand is an outdoor one and many months of planning went into it. It was pre-planned, that Ranbir Kapoor would shoot his solo portions, at the time where Katrina Kaif was to shoot for Baar Baar Dekho”.

He added, “The Jagga Jasoos shoot will resume from March 6th as Katrina returns from Excel’s film. In fact, the last schedule I shot with both Ranbir and Katrina was the best one so far”.

‘Jagga Jasoos’ is apparently scheduled for release in July-August, although a definite release date is yet to be announced.
