Veteran actor Govinda’s role in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has been axed, Anurag Basu has confirmed.
A picture emerged a few days ago with Govinda in a long beard look with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. The director has now confirmed that those scenes will no longer make the final edit.
He told GlamSham, “I had shot couple of days with him (Govinda) but then later there were certain changes in the story and other few things. So now I would like to clarify that Govinda’s part is not in the film. I had earlier planned that track but later decided to drop it. It was very kind of him that he had said yes of this guest appearance. But now it’s our loss.”
‘Jagga Jasoos’ releases on 14th July 2017.
