Anupam Kher, who has been in the news recently for allegedly supporting the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their initiatives, slammed his criticisers over social platforms saying they are publicity hungry people.
“Of my five million followers I have blocked two people as they had given ‘galis’. (But) if you are given galis by someone it shows his mentality. I only look at the good side. By being good you are not noticed. By being horrible and abusive you are,” he told DNA.
The actor remarked India as the most tolerant nation of the world. He feels proud that he was born there, and grew up in this country. Senior actor wondered that he never heard so much the word intolerance as he hears these days.
Kher feels proud of his Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who works very hard and had taken India to a global high. He finds PM as a motivation in his life.
The actor led a march from India Gate to Rashtrapati Bhawan in November this year against the issue of ‘intolerance’ and ‘award wapsi’. Later, he also questioned “PK’ (2014) actor Aamir Khan of his intolerance statement. “They don’t want to talk about development. ��The country is making progress and these things,” 60-year old slammed those who have returned their awards in protest against intolerance.
