Anushka Sharma still working during quarantine

Her social media shows how she is taking it easy and making the most of spending time with her husband Virat Kohli, however if recent news it to be believed, Anushka Sharma’s real life tells another story. Putting her producer hat back on, the actress – turned-filmmaker is in the midst of preparing for a whole host of projects.

According to Deccan Chronicle, as well as gearing up for her forthcoming film ‘Chakdah Express’, Sharma is also working on a number of series projects set for Netflix and Amazon. One of which is said to be an adaptation of Tarun Tejpal’s novel ‘The Story Of My Assassins’ (2009), titled ‘Pataal Lok’. The series will be co-produced by Prosit Roy and Avinash Arun who have signed Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi and Jaideep Ahlawat to play pivotal roles.

A source was reported revealing more about Sharma’s other projects as they explained, “In addition to this, Anushka is also producing ‘Mai’ which has Sakshi Tanwar in the lead and is directed by Atul Mongia. All her shows have women as protagonists including the Jhulan Goswami biopic in which she plays the lead role. Her other films like ‘Pari’ (2018), ‘Phillauri’ (2017) and ‘NH10’ (2015) have also had strong female protagonists, so Anushka is surely keeping her priorities right and herself busy.”

It looks like Sharma definitely has her work cut out, and she isn’t letting anything hold her back from doing what she does best.
