Anu Malik angry over change in ‘Star Ya Rockstar’

Music director Anu Malik has expressed his anger at ZEE TV’s new show ‘Star Ya Rockstar’ after finding out that a second judge will accompany him on the panel.

According to reports, when Anu had signed for the show, the channel had assured him that he would be the only judge on the singing talent show. However, his ex-pal Alisha Chinai has been roped in as the second judge.

Anu told Times Of India, “While signing on the dotted line of my contract, I had told the ZEE team that I want to be the one and only judge on the show. I was brought on board for my expertise and superior knowledge in music. I am upset that they have another judge on the show. But thank God its Alisha. I have a good equation with her.” Alisha, on the other hand, is said to be pretty relaxed and is taking these developments well within her stride. “I am not surprised, Anu loves to hog the limelight,” she quips.

Ragini Khanna, Neha Marda, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Sumit Raghavan, Mansi Parekh, Chhavi Mittal and Manish Paul have been finalised as the celebrities to take part in the show.

Mona Singh will host the show. ‘Star Ya Rockstar’ starts on Saturday (8th October) at 19:00.
