Another honour for Madhuri Dixit-Nene
As if winning countless trophies for her flawless acting over the years wasn�۪t enough, Madhuri Dixit-Nene has just been awarded the ��Raj Kapoor Special Contribution�۪ Award by the Maharashtran government. Other known winners from the film fraternity included Shyam Benegal who was awarded the ��Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement�۪ Award.

Constituted annually by the Maharashtran government, the honour consists of a cash prize of Rs.2,00,000, a citation and a memento for each of the winners.
Madhuri was last seen in Aditya Chopra�۪s ��Aaja Nachle�۪ (2007) and her next release is ��Dedh Ishqiya�۪ in which she will be seen portraying a character with shades of grey. Paired opposite veteran Naseerudin Shah for the first time, the film also stars Arshad Warsi and Kangana Ranaut.
