Ankita Lokhande is speaking out in support of her ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput’s family, who have filed an FIR against the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
In an interview with Zee News, Lokhande said that the next course of action in Rajput’s case should be the investigation of the claims made by his family, “Maharashtra Police, as far as I know, there is no FIR registered with Mumbai Police but Sushant’s father registered an FIR with Bihar Police so I think the investigation should move in that direction. If ‘papa’ is doing something, he must surely have some proof. He lost his son, such a big loss. I know him. He cannot be depressed and if he was depressed why did ‘you’ leave him alone? ‘You’ should have stayed with him, told his family. ”
However, she is not comfortable openly blaming Chakraborty for the tragedy, “I don’t want to blame anyone. I used to be happy that he is doing so well for himself but for the last year I had a feeling he is not happy. It was probably my sixth sense. It wasn’t that strong but I couldn’t see his smile, the shine in his eyes anymore, there was intuition, I used to think is he okay, if he is fine.”
Lokhande and Rajput had ended their relationship in 2016.
