Ankit Tiwari to remain in custody until 26th May

Ankit Tiwari, who was recently arrested for alleged rape, is going to be kept in judicial custody until 26th May, BizAsia can confirm.

Tiwari, who is known well for the award-winning ��Sun Raha Hai Tu�۪ song in last year�۪s ��Aashiqui 2�۪, denies the claims made by the victim, rumoured to be his girlfriend. She has accused him of rape as he promised her marriage and didn�۪t keep to it.

Tiwari�۪s brother, Ankur, was also arrested for threatening the victim.
