Anjana Sukhani on being a Sanjay Leela Bhansali heroine

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has always been considered a dream director for actresses in Bollywood, having brought out the best from the likes of Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji, Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukone.�� Anjana Sukhani, who will be seen in Bhansali’s ‘Laal Ishq’, feels honoured to be working with the filmmaker.

Speaking to PTI, Sukhani said, “I am at loss of words to describe what an honour it is to be a Sanjay Leela Bhansali heroine. It is a beautiful feeling. We all know he is a craftsman, he is a true genius. When he works he puts his best and goes beyond brilliant.”

Sukhani also added that Bhansali is a “completely non-interfering producer”.

‘Laal Ishq’ will mark both Bhansali and Sukhani’s debut in Marathi cinema. The film also stars Swwapnil Joshi and is slated to release on 27th May.
