As Anil Kapoor’s son returns home after studying abroad, he has of course been inundated with offers of a few roles here and there. However news has it, that the young Kapoor has different ideas as to what he wants to step into.
According to Hindustan Times, filmmakers Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra andVikramaditya Motwane both approached Harshvardhan Kapoor for a role in their prospective films. Having been assigned to assist Anurag Kashyap for ‘Bombay Velvet’, Kapoor turned down the roles as he want to concentrate on working behind the camera.
A source was reported explaining, “He has utmost respect for both Rakeysh and Vikramaditya and was flattered that they thought of him for their films. But right now, Harsh wants to concentrate only on assisting Anurag. He wants to experience the process of filmmaking and learn the intricacies before moving in front of the camera.”
‘Bombay Velvet’ will see Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma sharing the screen space for the first time, and is set to go on floors in July.
