Anil Kapoor ‘very much’ proud of Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Neerja’ role

Anil Kapoor stated that his daughter Sonam Kapoor’s opting to pen down the role of late air hostess Neerja Bhanot in the biopic titled ‘Neerja’ (2016) made him a proud father.

The actor said that he is happy to see the change of trend in filmmaking. He told IANS, “There are changes in filmmaking. People are making films on sports personalities and athletes. Even ‘Neerja’ is based on the life of a girl who was not so popular before the film was released. Now people know her.”

When asked if the film made him proud, he said, “Very Much.”
