Anil Kapoor to reprise his detective role in ‘Race 3’?

The hype surrounding Ramesh Taurani’s ‘Race 3’ seems to be a lot bigger than the other two films in the ‘Race’ franchise.

The film, which will see Salman Khan take the lead, could also see Anil Kapoor returning as the private detective, Robert D’Costa. If true, he will be the only actor to be seen in all three ‘Race’ films. ‘Race 3’ has an all-new star cast, which also includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol and Daisy Shah.

A source was quoted as telling DNA, “Anil had played Robert D’Costa aka RD, a private detective, who acts stupid but is very sharp, resourceful and quick. Anil’s character was liked immensely by the audience. The first movie had Sameera Reddy playing his assistant, while the second film saw Ameesha Patel in the role.”

“If Anil comes on board, he will be the only cast member to be a part of all three films of the Race series. Also, this will be the actor’s first film with choreographer-turned-director Remo,” added the source.

‘Race 3’ releases on Eid 2018.
