With the likes of Anupam Kher and Subhash Ghai having taken the plunge, reports had it that Anil Kapoor was the next big name to open up his own acting school. However Kapoor has come on record to state that he there will be some time before he does so.
Talking to the media,��Times of India��reported the actor-turned-producer explaining, “Anybody who wants to do something like that…education is something for which you need to leave everything else and focus on it.��You can’t do five things at a time. You are doing this and that and running a school too…I think that doesn’t work.��If you see globally, those who have got into education or philanthropy, they have left everything else. And I am not ready yet.”
In the meantime, Kapoor is preparing for his forthcoming release, ‘Dil Dhadhakne Do’ which will also star Shafali Shah, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Rahul Bose and Anushka Sharma. ��Playing a the father of Chopra and Snigh, Kapoor spoke about his character, “He is the patriarch. Patriarch is an exciting role to portray. In ‘Virasat’ (1997), I played a patriarch in the second half of the film. All the decisions are controlled by the patriarch, which makes the role exciting.”
Directed by Zoya Akhtar, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ is set to hit the silver screens 5th June.
