Anil Kapoor not keen on being on-screen father to Sonam

When the topic of Bollywood families comes up, one of the main questions on everyone’s lips is, “When will they be doing a film together?”. When actor Anil Kapoor was asked this question in relation to his daughter Sonam, he expressed his interest, however he wants to move away from the reality of their relationship.

“We keep getting a lot of offers but nothing great has come our way. We really��want to work together��n a film but I don�۪t want to play her dad… I mean, won�۪t that be really boring?” Hindustan Times��reported the actor stating. He went on to add “It should be something very dramatic. If I end up playing the obvious role (of her dad), then what new are we offering to the audience? ”

Whilst the actor hints to filmmakers what he is looking for, he is also getting involved in producing the remake of��Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1980 hit film ‘Khubsoorat’. Sonam will be playing the female lead, and her doting father seems very excited about the film, “I think Sonam would do a great job with that role. I am really looking forward to seeing her in that role. she is a brilliant actor.”
