Anil Kapoor & Nana Patekar after 20-something heroine?

Anees Bazmee’s ‘Welcome’ (2007) saw Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar in main roles. Now, they will be returning in the sequel ‘Welcome Back’ and will be seen trying to get the affection of a 20-something girl, played by Ankita Srivastava.

Talking to Mumbai Mirror, the director said, “They’re both single, waiting to fall in love. Unfortunately, the ‘young heroes’ hit it off with the same woman”.

“From Ferraris, Rolls Royces and Lamborghinis racing in the dessert to real gold-rimmed spectacles, Firozji didn’t hold back for the sequel,” says Bazmee about producer Firoz Nadiadwala.

Kapoor and Patekar are the only ones reprising their roles for the second instalment.
