Anil Kapoor – Dimple Kapadia return on screen in ‘Welcome Back’

After hit movies like ‘Jaanbaaz’ and ‘Ram Lakhan’ in the 1980s, Anil Kapoor has been paired up with Dimple Kapadia in Anees Bazmee’s ‘Welcome Back’.

Incidentally, both stars who were a part of the famous romantic song ‘Tera Saath Hai Kitna Pyara’ from Feroz Khan’s ‘Jaanbaaz’, will be reprising the track in ‘Welcome Back’ as a tribute to Khan. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has roped in Naseeruddin Shah to step into Khan’s shoes for the sequel.

Talking about his pairing with Kapadia, Anil told BollywoodHungama, “Oh God! That was like ages ago. Dimple and I last worked together in Ram Lakhan, though in that film she was opposite Jackie Shroff. She is a fantastic person and such a good actress. We’ve been catching up on old times. She was very busy with her own life. I had my own commitments. It’s difficult to keep in touch in this profession. I am glad we are working together. She hasn’t changed at all.”
